Bach 'Magnificat': Choir and Orchestra of St Peter's College

The St Peter's College Choir and Orchestra is pleased to present an afternoon concert in two parts on Saturday 21 February 2026.

First, the Choir and Orchestra will be joined by current and former College community members in presenting Parry's 'I was glad' and Handel's 'Zadok the Priest'.

Following a short interval, the Choir and Orchestra will present J.S. Bach's grand 'Magnificat'.

The Choir of St Peter’s College is one of the finest mixed-voice choirs at the University of Oxford. It comprises around 25 auditioned students and has an established reputation in Oxford, and further afield, for its choral excellence, diverse repertoire, and collegiality.

The performance will be conducted by Director of Music at St Peter's College, Quintin Beer.
