ABOUT
What Goes Around op shop is the brainchild of 3 tired new mums. We're frustrated that finding affordable, second-hand items for our littlies is a challenge- especially as babies grow out of clothes so quickly in their first few years. This leads to a fast turnover of clothes thrown away and then bought new, contributing to increased landfills and a waste of energy, resources, and water that goes into producing new clothing.
Anecdotally, the Margaret River Lions Shed and local Op Shops have also been overwhelmed by donations of local baby clothes, leading to donations often being sent to op shops out of the region or to landfills if they’re not top quality.
Our mission is to:
1. Reduce valuable resources from ending up in landfill
2. Foster community - especially for mothers and young families
3. Increase savings for local families to tackle the cost-of-living crisis
4. Encourage a circular economy
