Here’s what to expect when you’re there—from life in the maternity ward to common testing and protocols hospitals use to keep your little one safe—and when you’re ready to head home. You'll also learn about upcoming Well Child Check appointments and our approach to immunizations.
Breastfeeding and Infant Feeding

We’re ready to give you the inside scoop on how to optimize your feeding experience—whether it's breastfeeding or bottle-feeding—to keep you and your baby healthy, safe, and comfortable. Get to know our compassionate, judgement-free philosophy!
Newborn Care

Common Illnesses: What To Worry About and What NOT to Worry About
Info: Even the tiniest sigh, sneeze, or rash can send a new parent into a tailspin. We’re here to reassure you about normal things new babies do, and to let you know about a few red flags that SHOULD draw your attention.
Newborn Sleep Strategies
Info: Newborn sleep can seem like a complete conundrum but our providers are ready to set you up for success from day one with tips on sleep hygiene, sleep schedules, safe swaddling, realistic expectations, and the link between a solid feeding plan and quality rest for your little one.
What To Expect In Your Baby's First Few Months
Info: Babies change constantly when they’re newborns, and not all babies meet their milestones at the same time. Find out what pediatricians watch for when it comes to baby development, and how you can help your little newborn thrive!
Parental Wellness and Postpartum Adjustment
Info: Taking care of yourself is just as critical as taking care of your baby in what experts call The Fourth Trimester—the three months or so after a baby is born. Learn more about preventative ways to protect your mental health postnatally, including connecting with community resources like Baby Blues Connection.
Soothing and Connecting With Your Baby and Their Siblings
Info: When a baby comes into the world, they join a bigger community of siblings and family members. You’ll glean all kinds of information from our expert behavioral health team about how to soothe and connect with your new baby, but also with siblings and extended family, during this transition.
Car Seat Safety & CPR
Host: Randall Children's Hospital's Child Injury Prevention
