Baby & Me Yoga: Portals to Love

When you make the decision to become a parent, you enter through a
gateway and move through a portal into a deeper
love and expansion than ever before -- and often in doing so, you
choose in some way to let go of a version of yourself that once was.
Let this class meet the "in between", the time of getting to know
yourself again as well as the beautiful new being who's now a part of
your life -- and celebrate each other.
This class offering will be a space for new parents and their babies,
ages 6 weeks to 12 months, to have dedicated time and space for
connection, restoration, and deep healing. You must be approved for light or low-impact exercise by your doctor.

What to Expect:

A 45 minute practice of gentle, rhythmic movement connected to the
heartbeat of Mother Earth and intentional sound healing to elevate
participants into a state of unity and peace. Come to laugh and play,
enjoy some relaxation, tend to your body, and find community for you and your baby.

This is a judgment free space where babies and parents are encouraged to come
as they are, releasing the need to strive for perfection in our yoga
practices or in our daily lives. This class is rooted in the
foundational teachings of Sva Ha Academy.

What to Bring:

You can bring as much as you need for you and your baby to feel comfortable. Novalier Family Wellness has plenty of space for pack and play's, blankets or baby bouncers. Feel free to bring a sturdy baby wrap if you'd like to have your baby on your body. We will have some basic props on hand like yoga mats, blocks, pillows and blankets, but please feel free to bring comforts from home and let us know if you would like help bringing anything inside.

DISCLAIMER:

There is no child care being offered at this event. This is a space for you to include your baby in your yoga practice, and it will be flexible around you and your baby's needs as much as possible.
