We are excited to announce that we will be playing a special 30th anniversary screening of Chris Noonan's terrific 1995 family film, BABE, as November's film in our NOSTALGIA NIGHT series, playing Wednesday, November 19th at Art House Cinema and Pub!A very cute and inspirational film with a wholesome story about following your dreams, BABE is an encouraging mid-90s gem that has sat with viewers for three whole decades as a movie that 1.) proves just how fun it is to suspend your disbelief and let a menagerie of talking animals do their thing, and 2.) shows the importance of disregarding societal norms and constructs in order to fulfill your dreams become whatever you want. Whichever of those two points is more important is up to you, but either one of them is more than enough of a good reason to come and see BABE!
Babe is a little pig who is unsure of his place in this world. With the help of his oddball farm animal friends, Babe realizes he has the potential to become one of the best sheep herding critters of all as he seeks the help of Farmer Hoggett and the sheepdogs to master his potential!
