Babbacombe is a district of Torquay, Devon, England. It is notable for Babbacombe Model Village, the Babbacombe Theatre and its clifftop green, Babbacombe Downs, from which Oddicombe Beach is accessed via Babbacombe Cliff Railway.
Set on the seafront overlooking Babbacombe Downs with views of Lyme Bay, this traditional seaside hotel is an 8-minute walk from Oddicombe Beach and a 7-minute walk from Babbacombe Model Village.
The unfussy double, twin and family rooms have en suite bathrooms, TVs, and tea and coffeemaking facilities, plus some have sea views (supplemented).
All of the public areas are situated on the ground floor. The hotel has a modern passenger lift to most bedrooms, some bedrooms will have stairs (approx 14) to gain access.
There's a bar with live entertainment most nights plus a sun lounge with access to the terrace and garden.

Single rooms have no sea view. Single rooms only have walk in showers. There are NO ground floor single rooms and there is between 3 - 6 steps to access a single room (in combination with a lift).
Twin rooms only have walk in showers - no baths.
Unfortunately the hotel cannot cater for a vegan menu.
Sea view rooms carry a supplement and not guaranteed until agreed with hotel. Balcony Sea View rooms are above the Show Bar so will not be suitable for those who retire early to their rooms as you will hear music up until 10.30pm.
There is an area where up to 4 Disability Scooters may be stored and re-charged overnight. This equates to ONE space per coach and one extra on request subject to availability on a "first come first served" basis.
