Music Director Deva is a renowned Indian film composer and singer, widely recognized as the "Father of Gaana Genre" in Tamil cinema. He has composed music for over 400 films, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada movies. Deva`s music career spans around four decades, with notable hits like Annamalai, Baasha, Aasai, and Kushi

He is known for his unique blend of traditional and modern styles, often incorporating Madras Tamil into his gaana songs. Deva has received several awards, including seven state awards and the Tamil Nadu Government`s Kalaimamani Award. His contributions to Tamil cinema have earned him the title "Thenisai Thendral" from veteran music director M.S. Viswanathan.
