B Local Georgia Athens Volunteer Day

Come volunteer with us!

Join us as we clean up our adopted highway, Hawthorne Ave., in Athens. Come get some exercise, do some good, and hang out with people that believe in using business as a force for good.

You don't need to work at a B Corp (or even know what one is) to join us. All ages are welcome (under 18 with chaperone). It's a fun way to meet some new people and serve your community.

Grabbers, bags and safety vests will be provided. Wear closed toe shoes, long pants recommended. Bug spray and sunscreen suggested in summer.

Most of the road has a good sidewalk and we recommend you stay on the sidewalks. Some of our crew will "get into the weeds," but do what makes you comfortable. Please also note, there are homeless encampments everywhere in Athens, so if you find one, please leave and leave it alone-treat it like you would anyone's private residence.

We park at the YMCA on Hawthorne, on the far end of the parking lot (away from the building). We'll split into teams to cover different sections.
