STAY ON MARS
Stay On Mars is a New England Hip Hop Artist and organizer behind Monday of the Minds: A Community Hip Hop Showcase in Portland, Maine. After moving around the country making music for a decade, MARS landed on the New England hip hop scene in 2015 and began working hard to create outlets for local artists to perform. These days MARS is also using his live performance to raise awareness for Alzheimer's research after his mother was diagnosed with the disease, and encourages the audience to donate to his upcoming Walk To End Alzheimer’s.
A community organizer at heart, MARS works as a Program Coordinator at the local Boys and Girls Club and commits himself to youth development in the city. In partnership with Friends of Congress Square Park he has developed a family friendly summer concert series called “Hip Hop In The Park.” Always looking ahead, MARS is currently gearing up for the Monday of the Minds 9 Year Anniversary and is in the beginning stages of his next project,
