B. Dalton YA Book Club | Clown in a Cornfield

B. Dalton’s Young Adult Book Club is celebrating spooky season with a killer clown.
Literally.
Join us on Tuesday, October 13 at 6:00 PM at B. Dalton Bookseller in Oviedo Mall as we discuss Clown in a Cornfield by Adam Cesare, a bloody, fast-paced YA slasher about a small town divided, a new girl caught in the middle, and one deeply unwell mascot with opinions about the local teenagers.
About the Book:
Quinn Maybrook and her father have moved to tiny Kettle Springs looking for a fresh start.
Instead, they find a town at war with itself.
Since the Baypen Corn Syrup Factory closed, Kettle Springs has split into two camps. The adults want to restore the town to its glory days. The teens want to make prank videos, have some fun, and get out as quickly as humanly possible.
Then Frendo shows up.
The creepy clown mascot of the abandoned factory has apparently decided there's only one way to fix Kettle Springs:
Get rid of the kids.
Suddenly, Quinn's boring new hometown has become the setting of a real-life slasher, and surviving Kettle Springs is going to take a lot more than waiting for graduation.
Come ready to talk killer clowns, slasher tropes, small-town secrets, questionable survival decisions, and exactly how quickly each of us would have fled the cornfield.
🐭 Mall Rat Bonus! Members of Oviedo Mall’s Mall Rat Teen Club receive a special treat at the meeting, so don’t forget your membership card!
RSVP now and join us for a perfectly terrifying October read. And maybe stay out of the cornfields.
