A talented assembly of musicians are donating their time and skills to make this a memorable evening.

Local songwriter Alan White will share cleverly crafted songs that are sure to become instant favorites. He will be joined by The Yardogs (Roger Brough, Chris Brough, and Joe Biesterfeld) who bring an entertaining chemistry and virtuosity born of playing together for over 20 years. They also host one of the longest running open mics in Kansas City. Percussionist John Bara will join on congas with Roy Baldwin Phillips helping on guitar and vocals.
Kansas City native and vocal powerhouse, Kat Bowser, rounds out the evening, covering a list of favorites and standards you’ll be sure to enjoy.
Shawnee Community Services Center has provided food, clothing and support for the Shawnee, KS and surrounding community for the past 43 years. 🚙LOCATION & PARKING We are located at 11119 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS. There is parking behind the theater, along the street and across the street. We have a full bar🍺, popcorn🍿& snacks.🏪Outside food from local eateries can be brought into the theater. No outside drinks of any kind are allowed in the theater. Food Trucks are often outside of Transport Brewery. They may change without notice.
What we offer our patrons
Aztec Shawnee Theater has NO advanced ticketing fees!! The price you see online is the price you pay! Ticket pricing does increase the day of the show. Tables with seats that include admission to the venue are available (while supplies last) either in the VIP section, or near the stage.
Venue seating
The auditorium has 4 ADA wheelchair spots plus 186 seats, including 104 general admission theater seats, 26 reserved theater seats, and 56 seats at 15 different tables.
