Guitarist, singer, songwriter, and founder of the Asian Blues Collective - Manchester’s own AZIZ IBRAHIM will be taking to the Traders side room on Sunday 3rd May.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Aziz Ibrahim, the renowned former guitarist for The Stone Roses and Ian Brown, plays a unique genre he defines as “Asian Blues” in his solo shows. His music fuses progressive rock and indie rock with traditional South Asian scales and rhythms, creating a distinctive sound that blends acoustic, electric, and tabla-driven, Desi-inspired tracks.
Expect “Asian Blues”, progressive and alt rock and virtuoso guitar playing, including his “Bombay Mix” of classic, electronica, and Eastern-inspired tracks.
Known for improvisational, intimate and often experimental sets; guitarist, singer, songwriter, and founder of the Asian Blues Collective - Manchester’s Aziz Ibrahim will be taking to the Traders side room on Sunday 3rd May
