What does Ayurveda say about the monthly cycle and menopause?
Ayurveda emphasizes that the monthly cycle should be free of pain, discomfort, and mood swings. It also supports a smooth transition into menopause. The symptoms we experience can offer valuable insights into our overall health and highlight areas that may require attention.
What are Maram Points?
Marmani (Marma, singular) are energy points on the body at junctions of certain bones, muscles, joints, arteries, or tendons. Prana flows at these energy-rich sites, allowing communication from the skin to deeper tissues, organs, and to the cellular level.
These sites can become blocked with toxic waste due to undigested food, thoughts, emotions, or an unhealthy lifestyle or environment. Gentle touch on these sites is one way Ayurveda supports the removal of toxins and the rejuvenation of the physical and subtle body.
