Book now for our next FOOD AND WINE PAIRING dinner (Sat 23 August), in partnership with AYAMA, showcasing Vermentino wines which will be introduced by winemaker Chiara Fabietti.The Vermentino wine grape variety is primarily found in Italian wine, and AYAMA is the first to produce Vermentino wines in South Africa. Dish: Vermentino-Cured Salmon with Lemon Zest & Microgreens
Wine Pairing: Ayama Vermentino
Why It Works: The citrusy freshness and saline minerality of the Vermentino enhance the delicate Flavours of the salmon while echoing the herbal microgreens.

Dish: Goat Cheese Mousse with Beet Carpaccio & Walnut Crumble

Why It Works: The delicate tropical fruit notes of passion fruit and lychee pairs well with the creamy cheese with hints of citrus and blossom cents complementing the earthy beets and walnut crumble.

Dish: Braised Beef Short Rib with Rosemary Jus & Root Vegetables

The charming family owned farm has a history dating back to 1685 when it was first settled by French Huguenot refugee Martin Pouisson.
