Get creative at Playtivity’s Aup Duck! Pottery Studio 🦆🎨
Join us for a hands-on session exploring pottery, colour and clay. Children will:
🖌️ Decorate their own ceramic mug to turn into a unique pencil pot, perfect for keeping pens and pencils organised at home.
🤲 Have a go at making a simple clay pinch pot, using their hands to squeeze, shape and add their own decorative details.
Along the way, we’ll practise designing, explore how clay changes shape and develop those all-important fine motor skills, as well as incorporating discussion on our heritage and legacy of the Potteries in Staffordshire.
A huge thank you to Dunoon Pottery for generously donating the biscuitware for our pencil-pot creations 💛
Come ready to get a little messy and make something of your own!
📅 14th November
📍 Frank Jordan Community Centre, Stone
🕘 9:15–10:45am
👧🧒 Ages 5–11 | Parent drop-off session
