AWS Community Day New Jersey 2026

Inaugural Flagship Community Event • Saturday, October 24, 2026

Join us for the inaugural AWS Community Day New Jersey 2026, organized by the AWS Central New Jersey User Group and our community volunteers.

This full day community event brings together cloud professionals, developers, architects, Generative AI practitioners, technology leaders, students, educators, AWS community members and industry experts for a day of learning, technical conversations, hands on experiences and meaningful professional connections.

Our goal is simple: bring the New Jersey technology community together to learn, share, connect and grow.

The program is being designed around practical AWS, Cloud and AI learning, including:

• Opening and featured keynotes
• Generative AI and Amazon Bedrock
• AI Agents and Agentic AI
• RAG, LLMs and intelligent applications
• Cloud architecture and modernization
• Security, Data, DevOps and Platform Engineering
• Technical breakout sessions
• Hands on AI Agent workshops and AWS Cloud labs
• Community and first time speakers
• Student participation and learning opportunities
• Women Shaping the Future of AI featured panel
• Community Voices and interactive discussions
• Professional networking
• Sponsor and community connections
• Lunch, coffee, snacks and refreshments
• Community swag
• AWS Community Day digital credential recognition for eligible participants

The final technical agenda and breakout room assignments will be announced following our Call for Papers review and speaker confirmations.

Whether you are an experienced cloud architect, developer, AI practitioner, technology leader, student or someone beginning your AWS and AI journey, we want this Community Day to provide something you can take back to your career, organization or classroom.

We are also creating opportunities for first time speakers, students and volunteers to become active contributors to the AWS community.

Come prepared to learn, ask questions, meet people and share your experiences.

We are intentionally keeping the attendee registration fee modest.

The organizers are planning approximately $67 of direct event arrangements per attendee, including event space, lunch, coffee, snacks, refreshments and other attendee related event arrangements.

The registration fee is therefore not intended to represent the full cost of your event experience. It serves as a commitment toward your reserved seat and helps us plan attendance, seating and catering responsibly.

General Admission: $25

Student Admission: $15
Valid student identification may be requested during check in.

Approved Volunteers: Complimentary

We encourage registered participants to attend and make full use of the day. Consider your registration not simply a seat reservation, but an investment of your time in learning, networking and becoming part of the growing AWS community in New Jersey.

We also want community contributions to be recognized beyond the event itself.

Subject to AWS Community Day credential platform eligibility and final issuance, eligible participants and contributors are planned to receive a unique, verifiable AWS Community Day digital credential recognizing their participation or contribution.

Credential recognition may include eligible:

Registered Participants • Speakers • Volunteers • Organizers • Sponsors • Community Contributors

Where supported, credentials can provide a unique credential reference and a lasting digital record that recipients can share through professional networks such as LinkedIn.

Please note: AWS Community Day digital credentials are community participation or contribution credentials and should not be confused with AWS Certifications.

We are planning opportunities for community photography, video, podcast conversations and professional event content.

Students and volunteers interested in photography, videography, podcasting, social media and community storytelling are encouraged to participate and contribute.

Selected media and professional photography experiences will be subject to final event arrangements.
