On Sunday, May 24th, we are taking over the Karate Church again and this time we are getting awkward. On purpose.Think Mall Portrait Studio. Think Glamour Shots. Think soft focus. Stiff shoulders. Emotional intensity that does not match the situation.
This is your permission slip to recreate the awkward studio portraits you grew up with or the ones you absolutely deserved.
We’re leaning all the way in on retro studio portraiture. Classic backdrops, dramatic posing, carefully arranged hair, and that deeply sincere mall-photo energy that makes everything feel just a little too intense and a whole lot of a hilarious.
