On Saturday, October 25, from 7 to 10 PM, we welcome Awen Family Band to the Beer Garden as part of their national tour. Rolling down from North Carolina, this collective brings a high-energy blend of roots music from around the world. Expect a fusion of zydeco, bluegrass, funk, Celtic, West African traditions, folk, jam, and more, all tied together with soulful lyrics and a spirit of connection.Formed in 2019 by singer-songwriter Tim Husk, Awen Family Band has featured members of Toubab Krewe, Big Something, Dr. Bacon, and other heavy-hitting acts. After years of rotating players, the lineup is now tighter than ever, with full-time members Paul Benner (bass/vocals) and James Kent (guitar/mandolin/vocals) joined by Marcus Clonts on drums and Daniel Combs on keys.
