Join us for an inspiring evening with Kailey Ownby, Founder of Freedom in Strides, a faith-driven nonprofit therapeutic riding program right here in Erath County.We’ll tour the facility, learn how Kailey is changing lives through equine-assisted services, and hear her story of combining a lifelong love for horses with a calling to serve others.
Kailey grew up around horses and began volunteering with therapeutic riding programs at just 14 years old. A Tarleton State University graduate with both a B.S. in Agribusiness and an MBA, she became a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor in 2023. Kailey’s passion for people, horses, and faith shines through every part of her work at Freedom in Strides.
💬 Fun fact: Kailey loves to travel! Two of her favorite places she’s visited are Bath, UK, and Capri, Italy.
