You are invited to join us for the Grand Opening of the Awasiwi Woods Disc Golf Course, presented by Vermont Mechanical, Inc!To celebrate this grand moment, we want everyone to come and have a throw. We will have a field throwing area to test your arm, putting zones, you can play a few holes and we will have free discs available to use for anyone who doesn't have one. Volunteers will be there to give pointers and tips on how to play. There will be a free raffle with great prizes such as disc sets, individual discs and other items. Food trucks will be on site serving up lunch or a sweet treat and the vibes will be high. Come to see the course, learn about disc golf, learn to throw and have fun.
Located at the South Burlington School District’s Middle and High School Campus, Awasiwi Woods is South Burlington's first (and only) disc golf course. This course was made possible by a collaboration among the South Burlington School District, South Burlington Recreation and Parks, Smugglers Notch Disc Golf Center, tee and course sponsors, and a dedicated group of volunteers.
