RE:ACT Performing & Production Arts is proud to present Matilda Jr, performed by our talented students!
Sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty! Inspired by the beloved book by Roald Dahl, the smash-hit musical, Matilda Jr. is a joyful, rebellious and brilliantly funny story about courage, imagination and standing up for what is right.
Matilda Wormwood is no ordinary child. With a sharp mind, a vivid imagination and a love of books, she finds herself surrounded by grown-ups who do not understand her, from her loud and selfish parents to the terrifying Miss Trunchbull, the fearsome headteacher of Crunchem Hall. But with the support of the kind-hearted Miss Honey, and a classroom full of spirited students, Matilda discovers that even the smallest voice can make the biggest difference.
Packed with unforgettable songs, hilarious characters and plenty of heart, Matilda Jr. is a celebration of bravery, friendship and the power of young people to change their own stories...
Please: note this event has flashing lights and loud bangs.
