Awakening II: Where Movement Meets MeaningA six-week yoga journey through the chakras and the planetary energies within
Join Jessica Girija Jewell for a six-week series that gently explores the connection between yoga and astrology. Together, we’ll awaken to the inner solar system—the chakras—as we engage in embodied practices that invite greater stability, flexibility, and insight into daily life.
Each week focuses on one chakra as a center of subtle intelligence—encoded with planetary resonance, emotional patterns, and the momentum of inner evolution. Through yoga, we’ll cultivate the inner conditions for spiritual growth: softening resistance, deepening presence, and allowing the light of awareness to rise.
Together, we will:
▫Explore the energetic and emotional qualities of each chakra
▫Cultivate the capacity for inner listening
▫Explore the effect of subtle shifts in body and breath
▫Use yoga as a method for purification, integration, and transformation
Each 90-minute session includes:
▫A short talk introducing the chakra and its planetary correspondence
▫A nourishing asana practice
▫Pranayama to balance and support energetic flow
▫A brief meditation to integrate and reflect
