Join Yael and Maryzelle for a journey into the realms of harmony and connection. This unique event invites you to connect to the self and community through authentic relating, deepen your intuition and sensitivity, and activate your creative expression and energy. Through a blend of Kundalini Yoga practice, ceremonial cacao, relating with self + other, movement medicine, and sound healing, we invite you to explore the depths of your being and discover new layers of awareness, joy, and fullness within.
Kundalini Yoga: Experience the transformative power of Kundalini Yoga, a dynamic practice that combines breathwork, movement, and meditation to awaken the creative energy within. Guided by Yael, we will connect into our bodies, tap into our vital energy and expand our consciousness while energizing and centering the self.
Authentic Relating + Journal Exercises:
We will delve into journal prompts to support mental clarity… Followed by sharing in small groups to foster connection and clarity.Whether through soothing vibrations or profound stillness, these practices will nurture a sense of inner peace and restoration.
Cacao Ceremony:
Enter a sacred space with Mayan ceremonial-grade cacao, known for its heart-opening and healing properties. Maryzelle will guide us through a ceremony. Savor the rich flavors of this plant medicine as it facilitates a deeper connection with yourself and others, fostering a sense of community and openness.
Movement Medicine:
Allowing the spirit of cacao to activate, we will dance and move our bodies freely. Dance to the rhythm and feel bliss. INjoy your body, while we feel the rhythms of soulful house grooves and smooth rhythms. Celebrate yourself and tap into your natural movement. Allow yourself to release tension, unlock creativity, and reconnect with the joy of movement as a form of self-expression.
Crystal Bowl + Gong Sound Healing:
The sound bath will include frequencies from a heart & chakra attuned sound bowls with A specifically tuned 7 crystal quartz bowl set. Including 2 gongs, drums and chimes. Your chakra system will also be brought to a balanced state with these specific tuned bowls.

This event is open to anyone seeking to deepen their spiritual practice, explore holistic healing modalities, and cultivate meaningful connections within a community of kindred spirits. No prior experience in yoga or healing practices is necessary—just an open heart and a willingness to explore!

Your Facilitators:

Yael Haar

Yael is a kundalini yoga teacher and practitioner, self-development coach, dancer and visionary. Her mission is to connect people back to their personal agency and creative energy through curating spaces for healing, transformation and energetic reclamation.
Yael offers virtual and in-person events and programs catered towards holistic healing, mindset work, building self-empowerment, and deepening spiritual growth. She is an Oakland native and has imprinted her healing journey through living and studying dance and kundalini yoga in New York to permaculture studies, off-grid experiences, and beginning her yoga teaching journey living in the carribean of Costa Rica. Her approach to the healing journey is authentic, rooted, loving and playful with the idea that we can make progress towards our goals and intentions while enjoying the process and not taking ourselves too seriously. "We have the abilities to re-write our destiny when we decide in mind, body AND subconscious!"
The ancient practice of Kundalini Yoga as well as movement and dance have been catalysts in her healing journey which she uses in her work. She received her 220 hr Kundalini Yoga certification through Siri Rishi Kaur (Brooklyn, NY) and has been practicing kundalini yoga since 2016.

Maryzelle Ungo

Maryzelle is a San Franscican born Salvadorena-American who is passionate and committed to a life of music. Growing up amongst the vibrant and diverse music scenes in Austin, Texas & San Francisco, California, Maryzelle’s first love was the drums and has played in numerous bands. She has toured throughout the country as a rock & roll, psychedelic, and ambient musician. She studied percussion and sound therapy at Mills College (Oakland) , where she received her BA in Music in 2021. During her music studies, she also earned her 200 HR yoga teacher training certificate from Yoga Society of San Francisco.
Her love of healing through music and movement has since continued to blossom, often working hands on as Mills College yoga assistant & Sound Healer. Along with banging the drums and evolving spiritually, she tapped into her mission as a sound therapist. She has been hosting and creating sound-baths and healing events in spaces across the Bay Area. She has hosted sound baths for UC Berkeley, Stanford, UCSF, Mills College, Veterans, and much more. She is also the resident sound healer at The Center SF and as well as SF Dharma Collective, and The Yoga Society of SF.
