Avondale Arts Fourth Monday Meetup and Workshop

Join us for potluck eats, gathering with neighborhood creatives, and hearing about the experiences of local artist Alec Rudek in his grant writing work that supports his personal artistic practice.

Alec Rudek is a Chicago-based experiential designer who creates interactive, LED-driven artworks, immersive environments, and large-scale murals. Drawing inspiration from organic forms and natural systems, his work uses light and color to spark curiosity, play, and discovery. His installations appear at light festivals nationwide as well as within local businesses, using art as a tool to celebrate nature and contribute to the vitality of his community.

*If you'd like to bring a dish to contribute to our potluck, please join in! Please bring your own beverage but plates and napkins will be provided.

Avondale Arts Co-Founder Nikki will also give monthly updates and artist opportunities for the year.
