Avon Lake Recycle Day

The Avon Lake Environmental Advisory Board (EAB) is excited to partner with Lorain County Solid Waste Management District as part of its Keep Lorain County Beautiful initiative!
We’re bringing several recycling opportunities together in one convenient location to help residents responsibly dispose of items that might otherwise end up in a landfill.
🗓️ Saturday, November 14
🕘 9AM – 1PM (or until the trailer is full)
📍 Ellen Trivanovich Aquatic Center Parking Lot
What can you bring?
🎃 Old Halloween pumpkins for composting
♻️ Yard signs and metal wickets
💻 Unwanted electronics (e-scrap)
This event is made possible through the support of Lorain County Solid Waste Management District, which is sponsoring the yard sign and electronics recycling, and Rathlin Soils and Rust Belt Riders, which are sponsoring pumpkin composting.
A special thank-you to our volunteer EAB members for helping make this community event possible!
Additional information about accepted materials will be shared ahead of the event and available on-site.
Small actions make a big difference. Let’s do our part to Keep Lorain County Beautiful! 🌎
