Instructors from the Eastern Alaska Range Avalanche Center will present a 90-minute clinic about avalanche awareness. This is critical information for anyone venturing into the back country this winter. It is also the first step in a lifetime of education on the topic. We will utilize the Know Before You Go curriculum and give folks the basics about terrain, weather, forecasts and gear. This event is free, but we will be accepting donations to support our overhead costs.
