A\V Comedy Club: "Thesis" "Defense" | Silly PowerPoint Comedy

See comedians “earn” their “degrees”! Three local comedians will take turns presenting hilarious PowerPoints on a subject matter of their choosing. After each presentation, two grad students will “cross-examine” each “expert” to see if they can graduate from A\V University. 

Sarah May (@sarahmaylaugh): An incredible observationalist, Sarah’s PowerPoints bring an emotional astuteness to usual (but also somehow unusual) situations

Evan Valentine (@evanvalentine_): Energetic and not afraid to swing through the fences, Evan’s commentary on just about any topic will have you stitched in laughter

Zwamby (@zwamby): dead-pan and creative, Zwamby will bring ideas and concepts you have never thought about before

Viv Martin (Harvard) (@vivmartincomedy) and Hernan Sanchez (Tufts) (@hernan.s.g)

Viv and Hernan are both incredibly funny comedians in their own right, and will join us today to leverage their academic skills not usually seen on a comedic stage.

Jack Simon (host) (@jacksimonsayslaugh): as the founder of A\V Comedy Club (a twice-monthly PowerPoint comedy open mic in Kendall Square), Jack is excited to present the Club’s first show featuring comedians who’ve developed their sets over the last year.

The proceeds from this show funds the year-round production of the A\V Comedy Club mic. Supporting this show supports local arts in Boston.
