An Art Institute of Chicago painting inspired Young’s Song of the Lark. Del Aguila’s Herbsttag is an eclectic mix of jazz and South American styles. Thuille’s Sextet has solo and symphonic dimensions along with warm lyricism; a bridge of old and new styles.
