Dede Alder and Ivan Akansiima bring together jazz, world music, folk, and spontaneous improvisation in a duo that is both soulful and playful. Dede, a vocalist, percussionist, and songwriter with the Earthwork Music Collective, joins Ivan, a master musician from Uganda whose guitar and piano artistry is defined by remarkable versatility and expressive depth. Together, they create vibrant, intimate performances rooted in deep musical connection, inviting audiences into a joyful conversation that unfolds organically in the moment.
