Bahar Ensemble performs the rich musical traditions of the Middle East, drawing repertoire from Arabic, Kurdish, Turkish, Egyptian, and Lebanese cultures. For nearly five years, the ensemble has introduced Midwest audiences to the beauty, depth, and rhythmic vitality of this music through authentic performances grounded in tradition. Featuring violin, oud, cello, voice, and percussion, Bahar creates an immersive concert experience that honors centuries-old musical lineages while bringing them to life for contemporary audiences.
