Why do leaves change color in the fall? Why do some leaves turn earlier than others? What strategies do trees use to stay alive and protect their buds through the winter months? Discover the answers to these questions and more during this guided hike through the autumn woods led by experienced Reserve docent, naturalist, and nature writer Eileen Willard. Eileen was a lab instructor in dendrology (study of trees) at University of New Hampshire for fifteen years and completed her Maine Master Naturalist certification in 2022. $8/$6.
