Autumn Sunset Photowalk with Celie
About this Event
Led by professional photographer Celie Nigoumi, this gentle autumnal sunset walk around Heavens Gate near Warminster walk will be focused on practicing the art of observation to help you slow down and enjoy nature up close.
You’ll be guided into a relaxed and inspired headspace through a short grounding exercise, then learn technical and storytelling skills so you can make better photos of your surroundings.

This Photowalk is an opportunity for you to:
- Practice being at peace with nature
- Fill your creative cup
- Meet other people seeking a slower pace of life
What to expect:
- We’ll meet at Heavens Gate parking (Warminster BA12 7LG) and get to know each other
- Get into a relaxed and inspired headspace through a short grounding exercise
- Be guided through techniques to observe your surroundings with more intention
- Learn what to pay special attention to when taking photos, with insight into storytelling and technical processes
- You’ll have the opportunity to ask me any questions as we go and I'll offer 1:1 photography support
- We'll finish by chatting about our experience and learnings over a cup of tea, and share the images we made (if we'd like to!)
What to bring: Whatever camera you enjoy using to make photographs. Phones, digital, compact and film cameras are all welcome. Water, weather-appropriate clothing, and sturdy footwear with good tread.

This is a gentle, supportive space for you to show up in whatever mood or energy you’re experiencing.
These photowalks are not about making perfect photos, they’re about connecting with yourself and the world around you by combining the magic of art and nature.

About The Facilitator
Celie is an artist and facilitator who finds peace and inspiration when taking her camera on gentle walks in nature. Based in Somerset, she works across the UK as a story-led Photographer for purposeful brands and organisations.
Her practice is greatly influenced by the rhythm of nature and her mindful photowalks support others to slow down and re-connect with themselves and fellow creative folk in the outdoors.

P.S. This event is held wholly outdoors, so make sure you're prepared for the British winter - bring warm layers and good shoes in case of a drizzle!
