Let the subtle vibration of a sound bath gently guide you through the transition into Fall. Don your comfy pajamas, wear your warmest socks, bring a tea mug and prepare to usher in the coziest season of all.

Magic Moon Medicine's Sound Baths are sweetly woven tapestries of word and sound. Each sound bath features a theme and opens with a guided meditation that gently takes you on a journey deeper into yourself.
Participants are “bathed” in healing sound waves for the purpose of restoring harmony and balance in the body. A cocoon of sound generated by chimes, drums, singing bowls and other musical instruments helps to relax and recalibrate your nervous system.
The luster of summer is beginning to wear off and you are feeling restless and tired. A part of you wants to push and continue to go full steam ahead into the next adventure, but you can feel a calling from deep inside that it is time to slow down. Autumn is beginning to seep in ever so quietly. You pick up your pace; you aren't going back there to the cold. The cold leads to darkness and no one wants to go there. With a heaving lurch, you life your tired body forward once more, trying to keep up the momentum. You feel the agitation under your skin. You want more Summer forever. But nothing lasts forever. And while you want to remain in this blissed out state of job and external abundance, you realize it was all that underground work that got you there in the first place. You are also tired. The energy required to move and go have taken it's toll on your mind, body and spirit and you need a break. Intuitively you feel the internal pull of change. As summer winds down, you feel the natural resistance to that change while also knowing that this shift results in the magical first steps toward going inward- which leads to more transformation and growth. Flow with the shift into Autumn. The grace of the nature in transition is beautiful.

We encourage you to bring yoga mats, blankets, pillows- anything to create a cozy little nest to lay back and relax in while you experience the healing power of sound. We also have nest making materials at the studio for you to use as well.
We encourage you to wear your PJs, warm socks and bring your tea mug as there will be an autumn herbal tea available.
We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the event begins. The door will be locked a little after 6pm in order to not disturb the experience of participants.

ABOUT YOUR HOST-
Dr. Jaclyn Schlindwein, DACM and LAc, is a Doctor of Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine. She has been trained in Vibration Medicine over the years by many teachers including: her Hawaiian Kupuna, Chinese Medicine Shamanic Drumming for Balancing the Elements teacher, CT Holman, Harmonic Sounds for Healing with Rowena McKee, Feeltone training with Inga and Martina Bohme, and Crystal Bowl Apprenticeship with Shalom 360- to name a few. She believes that the stressors of everyday life can lead to dissonance within our bodies, but that sound can return us back to balance.
