Autumn Landscape Kinusaiga
Often described as a “no-sew patchwork” technique, Kinusaiga is a traditional Japanese art form where fabric is carefully tucked into fine grooves to create detailed, quilt-like pictures without stitching. In this workshop, you’ll use a stunning selection of autumnal fabrics to build rolling hills, glowing skies, winding paths and stylised trees inspired by the changing countryside.
You’ll be guided step by step through the process, learning how to layer fabrics to create depth, movement and texture within your scene. With plenty of fabric choices available, you’ll be able to personalise your landscape with your own favourite seasonal tones and patterns.
Relaxing, mindful and wonderfully satisfying, this workshop is perfect for beginners as well as anyone who enjoys textile art, colour and slow creative processes.
All materials, tools and refreshments are included. Your finished artwork can be framed for an additional £10 payable on the day.
