Autumn Equinox Meditation Gathering at Avebury Stone Circle

The Autumn Equinox represents a time of balance as the Sun shines directly over the equator. This is a time to pause and reflect on where we are at and to rededicate ourselves to being fully awake and grounding our light as we embody our path of light.

We are being called once again to gather as one and hold the light to help anchor in the true Aquarian Age, which is characterised by a conscious, awakened humanity that honours all life and the spiritual unity of all things. Now is the time to come out, meet, network, and co-create new communities of light.

In the Equinox astrology chart, the Sun enters Libra (balance and relationships), helping us to focus on how we can bring ourselves into balance and connect with each other in harmony. It perfectly aspects the three Aquarian Activation planets (a trine to Pluto, a trine to Uranus, and an opposition to Neptune), and these planets form together a Grand Trine/Kite focused for spiritual awakening and transformation.

There are now core groups who gather at sacred sites around the world to meditate on the Solstices and Equinoxes to hold the light for the planet and empower positive light-filled timelines in meditation.

In the UK, we will gather at Avebury Stone Circle at 12.30pm for a meditation and empowerment ceremony as part of a solar wave of light to mark the solar zenith at 1pm. We will form a pillar of light together and anchor the solar energy and our light-filled and love-filled intentions deep into our beings and down into Mother Earth in honour of the light and the sacredness and oneness of all life. We will hold the Aquarian vision, contemplate the astrological themes, hold the light for their resolution, and discuss ways of holding the light and creating communities of light.

Avebury Stone Circle is the largest megalithic stone circle in the world and is full of timeless mystery, magic, and power that blends with us in meditation, helping us to open up and receive the highest frequencies of light.

All are welcome. Please bring friends, symbolic objects, crystals, poems, songs, musical instruments, circle dances, and your love and light! Let us bring back Love, Light, Magic and Beauty to Mother Earth and our own hearts.

We will meet in the Sun Circle, near the Obelisk marker stone. Walk through the gate that is to the right of the Elements shop (opposite the Red Lion pub), then walk left and find us in the stones (see photo). Note that our gathering is separate to the nearby Druid gathering so check what gathering you join!
