Autumn Equinox holistic day retreat at the Heart of England Forest

Welcome to the Autumn Equinox holistic day retreat at the Heart of England Forest! Join us for a day of relaxation, rejuvenation, and connection to nature at Gorcott Hill education centre. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the autumn season as we explore various holistic practices to nurture your mind, body, and soul.

Mabon is also known as the Autumn equinox and is celebrated around September 21st each year. A significant pagan festival, it represents a time of gratitude and balance as the sun begins its descent and darkness and overtakes daylight.

Join us as we invite you to experience the ancient practise of a cacao ceremony in the gentle embrace of nature’s woodland at the beautiful Gorcott Hill wood, near Redditch.

This transformative gathering includes intention setting, nurturing earth-based yoga flow and drinking ceremonial- grade Cacao to open the heart and connect with your inner self, allowing for expression and creativity through painting and journalling.

After lunch cooked around the fire, we will take you through a Hatha Yoga-flow before immersing into a deep sense of relaxation and inner peace with our guided sound meditation.

As summer fades away and winter approaches join us on this day for a transformative and calming experience , marking the moment when day and night are equal in length, as we come together to honour the changing of the seasons and give thanks for the abundance of nature .

Tea/coffee and cake will be provided alongside a simple hot campfire meal (dietary alternatives are avaliable) . As it is a whole day we recommend bringing an extra drink and snacks should you require them. Please note you will be required to bring your own Yoga equipment (see FAQ). On booking you will recieve a detailed email outlining what you will need for the day.
