Autumn Equinox Flow: Yoga
About this Event
As summer comes to an end and autumn begins to arrive, join us for a grounding morning practice inspired by the Autumn Equinox — a moment of balance, transition and change.
Through a flowing Mandala yoga practice, we’ll move in a circular, mindful sequence designed to connect movement with breath and bring a sense of grounding and stability to both body and mind. As nature begins its gradual shift inward, the practice invites us to do the same: slowing down, reconnecting with ourselves and creating space to welcome the new season.
We’ll explore breath awareness, mindful movement and grounding postures, helping to release tension, improve flexibility and mobility, build strength, and cultivate a deeper sense of presence. The practice will gradually become slower and more meditative, ending with a closing meditation to leave you feeling calm, centred and ready for the season ahead.
The experience is also inspired by Ayurvedic seasonal wisdom and the transition into Vata season. As the air becomes cooler and nature begins to change, we’ll focus on warming and grounding elements that encourage balance and calm.
The Equinox represents a moment of equal light and darkness — a natural reminder to find balance within ourselves. Taking place during Libra season, traditionally associated with harmony, connection and equilibrium, this gathering offers a chance to pause and reflect on what you want to carry forward and what you’re ready to let go of.
After the practice, enjoy a warming Ayurvedic herbal tea and take a moment to connect with others in the community.
Whether you’re experienced in yoga or completely new to the practice, all levels are welcome.
Slow down. Find your balance. Welcome the season.
