Planetary Healing Centre’s Community Woodland
You are warmly invited to join us for our Autumn Equinox Community Fire, a heartfelt gathering to honour the balance of light and dark as we begin the descent into the quieter half of the year.
The Autumn Equinox, also known as Mabon, is a time of harvest, gratitude, and reflection. It offers us a sacred pause — a chance to acknowledge the fruits of our efforts, give thanks for the abundance in our lives, and gently prepare for the inward journey of the coming months.
🌿 What to expect:
Fire ceremony to mark the turning of the wheel
Seasonal blessings, song, and gentle sharing
Space for reflection and connection with nature
A peaceful and inclusive community circle
🥾 What to bring: Sturdy outdoor footwear, warm layers, a blanket or something to sit on. Feel free to bring a flask or light snack to share.
Let’s come together to honour the changing season, give thanks, and gather in community around the warmth of the fire.

DONATIONS: Our work is guided by the principle that holistic ways, nature and community should be accessible to all. While donations help us sustain our offerings, everyone is welcome — if a donation isn’t possible for you, simply book a free space with our full support and blessing.
WHERE : Meet at the Planetary Healing Community Woodland, Cockburnhill Road, Balerno, EH14 7JB. Bus 44 / 44A. At the village, stop at the third bus stop after the roundabout. From there, enter Cockburnhill Road and walk for approximately 15 minutes and at the V junction turn right and walk for 2 minutes until you see the Planetary Healing sign on your left. Once you've reached the sign, enter the woodland and follow the stream, crossing the bridges as you go.
PARKING: Please park before the 'T' junction on Cockburnhill Road, then walk approx 2 minutes after the 'T' junction following the signs to the woodland entrance.
EMAIL REMINDER: You will get an email reminder of your event 3 days before it. Please make sure you add [email protected] to your email address book or safe senders list. Also keep a regular eye on your inbox and spam folders as sometimes our emails end up there. This way you won't miss out on any important updates regarding your booking.
NOTE: On your arrival, please feel free to let us know your preferred pronouns (e.g. he/him, she/her, they/them) and what name you would like us to refer to you by.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Space is limited, so if for any reason you need to cancel, please let us know asap, so we can free up the space for others on the waiting list. Due to the amount of work involved, donations are non-refundable.
PHOTOS: Occasionally we take group pictures for promotions, reports, funders, newsletter and social media. If you would prefer not to be in the picture, please communicate this to the facilitator on arrival.
