Autumn Bird Watching: Adult Program (18+) FREE Event, LIMITED CAPACITY

Join an educator for a morning of bird watching at Hempstead Lake State Park!

Are you curious about what birds you can find in Nassau County during the Autumn season? Come on out to the park for a relaxed morning of bird watching down by McDonald & South Ponds. All skill levels are welcome. Binoculars and field guides will be provided but feel free to bring your own.

We will be meeting in the Field 3 Parking Lot at 10:00 AM Sharp!

This is a FREE event but has a limited registration capacity. No parking fees in effect.

Adults only (18+), reservations are required for all programs. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive at least 10 minutes early.

Please dress accordingly for the weather, wear proper foot attire for walking, and bring water. You are welcome to bring a small snack if you like.
