Join local birder Matthew Harrison for a walk across the Derwent valley searching for the elegant and elusive birds that call the area home.
This walk is appropriate for both beginner and advanced birders. Some likely species for this walk include: Red Kite, Dipper, Green Woodpecker, Grey Wagtail, Tawny Owl, Jay, Mandarin Duck.
Some sections of the route include steep paths, so please wear sturdy footwear and be prepared for a few uphill stretches...
