Learn the ancient craft of basket weaving during this two-day workshop on our organic farm.Come to the beautiful Community Farm and learn the ancient craft of basket weaving!
During this two-day workshop you'll be weaving your very own round basket with a handle, suitable for carrying your shopping, foraging and so much more! You'll learn a range of weaving techniques; how to pair, wale, rand, finish off a border, attach a handle. We'll be using locally grown willow in a range of colours.
This course is suitable for complete beginners/ improvers wanting to take their skills to the next level.
Basket making can be tough on the hands so not suitable for anyone with arthritis
