Autumn Alchemy: Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation
About this Event
🍁 Autumn Alchemy: Yoga, Breath & Meditation for Seasonal Transformation
Autumn invites us into transition.
The days grow shorter. The natural world begins to shed, reorganize, and turn inward. Rather than resisting change, what might happen if we allowed ourselves to move with it?
Autumn Alchemy is a seasonal yoga, breath, and meditation series exploring transformation through the body.
Directing energy toward slowing down, listening, releasing, and integrating through fascia-informed movement, Hatha and Yin-inspired yoga, chakra awarenes, pranayama (breathwork), restorative practices, and meditation, we’ll explore the body not as something to push or perfect, but as something to listen to.
No previous yoga experience is necessary.
🍁 The Autumn Journey
Each practice explores a different aspect of seasonal transformation:
SOFTEN — Listen beneath the surface
Slow down and explore sensation, mobility, breath, and habitual patterns of tension.
RELEASE — Practice letting go
Explore longer holds, mindful movement, spacious breathing, and aparigraha — the yogic practice of non-grasping.
INTEGRATE — Return to center
Ground, restore, and allow the changes you’ve experienced to settle through slower movement, breath, and meditation.
TRANSFORM — Make space for what comes next
Meet change with curiosity rather than force and carry the practice beyond the mat into the changing season.
Classes may vary from week to week while continuing this larger seasonal journey.
What to expect
Each 60-minute class may include:
• Grounding and embodied awareness
• Gentle fascia-focused and multidirectional movement
• Beginner-friendly Hatha, slow flow, Yin, or restorative yoga
• Pranayama / conscious breathing practices
• Meditation and periods of stillness
• Seasonal philosophy and reflection
• Optional modifications throughout
You are always encouraged to rest, modify, skip a posture, or choose what feels appropriate for your body.
Who is this for?
Autumn Alchemy is for you if you’re looking for an opportunity to:
• Slow down after the outward energy of summer
• Reconnect with your body and breath
• Explore mobility and mindful movement
• Develop a more sustainable relationship with your yoga practice
• Create intentional space for reflection and seasonal transition
• Begin yoga in a supportive, non-competitive environment
Beginners are warmly welcome.
You don’t need to be flexible, experienced, or able to perform particular poses to participate. Come exactly as you are, and please disclose any health conditions that you'd need to be mindful of during your practice.
Why it's a weekly series
This series is offered weekly because benefits of yoga comes through consistent practice. Each week builds upon the last through movement, breath, meditation, and yogic philosophy, creating space to learn, practice, reflect, and return.
Over time, the intention is to take yoga beyond the mat—cultivating greater awareness, balance, and connection between mind, body, and spirit that can carry into everyday life, allowing you to adapt and grow with the internal and external circumstances.
Each class stands on its own, so drop-ins are always welcome. Attending regularly, however, allows you to experience the deeper arc of the season and your own evolving practice.
