About this Event
The Commission invites you to "Autism: Raising Awareness at the Capitol," an event dedicated to increasing awareness, fostering understanding, and addressing the challenges faced by the autism community. This event will serve as a platform for individuals with autism and their families to become empowered advocates while connecting with organizations across the state that provide essential autism-related services and resources.
We welcome families, community organizations, education and medical professionals, and partners to join us for an informative program featuring experts who will share insights on autism statistics, research, available support services, and programs. Additionally, parent advocates will share their personal experiences, highlighting both the challenges and successes of raising children on the autism spectrum.
For more information, please contact Denise Drummond at [email protected].
Join us as we work together to raise awareness, provide support, and build a more inclusive future for the autism community!
