This month we are reading Unseelie by Ivelisse Housman. This is a YA fantasy with one of our main characters being a changeling and autistic. Here's a bit about it: Iselia “Seelie” Graygrove looks just like her twin, Isolde…but as an autistic changeling left in the human world by the fae as an infant, she has always known she is different. Seelie’s unpredictable magic makes it hard for her to fit in—and draws her and Isolde into the hunt for a fabled treasure. In a heist gone wrong, the sisters make some unexpected allies and find themselves unraveling a mystery that has its roots in the history of humans and fae alike.
Come join us at Bettie's Pages @ 6:30pm to chat about it:)

Book Club description:
Join us for our Autism Book Club in 2025 as we read books from a variation of genres. Meetings will be every 1st Thursday of the month at 6:30PM at Bettie’s Pages!
Nonfiction, fiction, romance, middle grade, graphic novel, horror, fantasy, and even picture books! I’ve been so excited to put this together, it was hard to narrow down my choices. As someone who is autistic, I love finding books with good autism rep I think I can relate to, or reading nonfiction about autism itself. Some of the books on this list I have read, and some I haven’t gotten around to yet. I’m hoping they’re all a good experience!
Look up “Autism Book Club 2025 - Bettie’s Pages” in the StoryGraph challenges to join!
See you soon
