About this Event
About the event
Indie sensation Jonathan Edward Durham joins Authors! to discuss his dark fantasy thriller, Winterset Hollow. Durham will share the story behind his book's journey to becoming a viral word-of-mouth hit and how he balances his background in neuroscience with his love for dark literary horror. The evening includes a 45-minute presentation followed by an audience Q&A session. Every ticket includes a copy of the book.
About the book
Winterset Hollow follows Eamon and his two closest friends, Caroline and Mark, as they travel to Addington Isle to visit the setting that inspired their favorite childhood book. They hope to explore the island that sparked the timeless fable about a group of animals preparing for an end-of-summer festival. But after breaking into the author's seemingly abandoned estate, the trio discovers the story is real and far darker than they ever imagined. To survive the trip, they must navigate a deadly reality where making it to the final chapter could cost them everything. This edition also includes the complete version of the fictional book within the story, Winterset Hollow, as written by the fictional author Edward Addington.
