Infamous Women of the American West 1 PM
Bestselling author Chris Enss's presentation will delight with wild stories of the American west's most infamous women with a focus on Kate Elder, aka Big Nose Kate.
These presentations will take place in the historic Courtroom which, due to the historic nature of the building, is only accessible via staircase. Presentations are free with paid museum admission. We will NOT be selling tickets to this event.
About Chris Enss:
Chris Enss is a New York Times bestselling author who has been writing about women of the Old West for more than thirty years. She has penned more than fifty published books on the subject. Her work has been honored with nine Will Rogers Medallion Awards, two Elmer Kelton Book Awards, an Oklahoma Center for the Book Award, three Foreword Review Magazine Book
Awards, two Laura Downing Journalism Awards, and a Willa Cather Award from Women Writing the West for scholarly nonfiction.
