AuthoraCare Hospice's first-ever Pickleball Mixer, a fundraiser for AuthoraCare Collective, will be from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at the Alamance Country Club, 2402 Pineway Dr., Burlington. Check-in from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. All levels welcome - Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Novice Group - Instruction with lots of hitting and learning match play. Intermediate/Advanced Group - Mixer run by Alamance Country Club staff. Play with partner or be matched up. Signature cocktail and heavy hors d'oeuvres provided. Beer and wine for purchase. NOTE: You don't have to be a member of the Alamance Country Club to participate. For ages 21 & up. Cost is $50 per player. Space is limited. Registration deadline is Monday, Sept. 15!
