Meera Trehan will be joining us in-store on Saturday, February 1st, 2025 from 2:00 to 3:30pm to promote her new book, Snow, in which an imprisoned princess needs the help of a girl from the modern world to undo a wish gone wrong and save her snowy kingdom.
There will be a discussion between Meera Trehan and Lakita Wilson, moderated by our bookseller, Christy. There will also be a reading, Q&A, and signing. Come out in your coziest wear and join us in hearing all about this magical new middle grade novel!

Meera Trehan is the author of The View from the Very Best House in Town. She grew up in Virginia, just outside Washington, DC. After attending the University of Virginia and Stanford Law School, she practiced law for over a decade before turning to creative writing. She lives in Maryland with her family.
Lakita Wilson is the author of several novels and nonfiction projects for children and young adults, including What Is Black Lives Matter? a part of the New York Times bestselling Who HQ Now series and the middle grade novels Be Real, Macy Weaver and Sparkle. Her latest YA romance, Pretty Girl County, will be out July 2025.
Lakita was born in Washington, DC, and grew up in Prince George's County, Maryland. A 2017 recipient of SCBWI's Emerging Voices Award, Lakita received her MFA in writing for children and young adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She is currently on faculty at Prince George's Community College in the education department. Lakita lives in Prince George's County, Maryland, with her two children.
