Nina is the author of Cowboys and East Indians, winner of a PEN Open Book Award, and her debut novel How to Commit a Postcolonial Murder (Pantheon, 2026). Her writing explores the American West in ways you haven't seen before. Born in Singapore, raised in Wyoming, and now based in Fort Collins, Nina brings a singular perspective to stories about place, identity, and belonging.
