The Friends of the Library welcome Wisconsin writer Deborah Hufford, author of BLOOD TO RUBIES.
Deborah Hufford is an award-winning author and magazine editor with a passion for indigenous and frontier history and horses.
Growing up as an Iowa farm girl Deborah rode her childhood horse, exploring the world around her. Inspired by her deep connection to the land, her reverence for folklore, and her passion for the written word, she found endless fuel for her creative spirit.
She holds a Bachelor's degree with a Double Major in English and Journalism, as well as a Master's in Journalism from the University of Iowa.
